India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli has looked in intense mood during the ongoing game against Australia National Cricket Team in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The semi-final of the tournament between the teams is taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
Virat Kohli, in the ongoing game, also achieved a massive feat for the India National Cricket Team. The right-hander became the fielder with the most number of catches for the team across all the formats, surpassing Rahul Dravid, who was at the top of the list.
Virat Kohli achieved the feat after he took the catch of Josh Inglis in the ongoing game. With this catch, the India National Cricket Team batter picked up his 335th catch in international cricket, going past Rahul Dravid’s tally of 334 catches during his career.
Virat Kohli took the catch during the 27th over when Ravindra Jadeja bowled a length delivery on off and middle to Josh Inglis. The batter went on the back foot to punch and find cover, where Kohli was stationed, and took an easy catch to send the batter packing.
